This is a gorgeous wrap-around skirt that is perfect for dancing through woodland amongst the snowdrops.
The skirt is a fabulous item of clothing lovingly re-made by Oshun Creations. This means that as if by magic, unwanted clothes and fabric are transformed into new ones that are much much prettier! You can say they are recycled, reconstructed, revamped, but the fashionable new term is ‘upcycled’. I like to to call it re-loved and recreated! I don’t use patterns; developing each garment organically, so every outfit is completely unique , handmade and one of a kind. No-one else will own one like it!
I was inspired by the snowdrop fairy vest made by punk label Strangeways, so I have put them together to form the ideal outfit!
Materials: This skirt has a base of 100% cotton muslin, but I have sewn over the top layers of a variety of fabrics including lace, net and satin, which are romantically ruffled and allowed to fall in tatty tassels which will float in the breeze.
This garment has some raw edges, which means with wear and washing, they may fray. I do this deliberately because I like the effect it makes and believe it adds to the ethereal quality. If you are interested in the item, but are worried about this, please contact me to talk about it because I can probably sew a seam.
Ideas: Add fairy wings and glitter for a full fairy costume. Or the bustle effect created by all the ruffles is ideal for a Steampunk or cyberpunk outfit with chunky boots. Or wear with ballet shoes for an original White Swan costume from Swan Lake.

| Measurements: |
| Skirt: The waist measurement is 34", which would be worn low on the waist. There is a massive cotton sash attached, so if you are layering over jeans for example, it doesn't matter if the ends don't meet. The cotton panel is 8" long. The tassel length varies, but the longest is 25" from the top.
Vest: Size Small and stretchy.
