This is a gorgeous wrap-around skirt that is perfect for dancing through the countryside under midnight stars.
It is a fabulous item of clothing lovingly handmade by Oshun Creations. Please read the information about how my garments are created and care advice so you’re happy before making a purchase.
I was inspired by the Star Angel vest made by punk label Strangeways, so I have put them together to form the ideal outfit!
Materials: This skirt is made from pure slub silk. Over the hem I have sewn a variety of luxury fabrics including satin, brocade, vintage cotton velvet and silk to form romantic petals in various shades of old gold.
This garment has raw edges on some of the petals, which means with wear and washing, they may fray. I do this deliberately because I like the effect it makes and believe it adds to the ethereal quality. If you are interested in the item, but are worried about this, please contact me to talk about it because I can probably sew a seam.
Ideas: Add fairy or angel wings and glitter for a full fairy costume. Or follow the cyber punk style of the vest and wear with chunky boots and punky jewellery. |
| Measurements: |
| Skirt: The top measurement is 51", which would be worn low on the waist. There is a long cream satin ribbon attached to tie it together, so the size is very adjustable; just overlap and wrap it around to fit. The curve of the hem means length varies, but the longest point is 16". Vest: Chest: 32”/81cm + further max 6”/15cm stretch.
