Inspired by the character in Pirates of The Caribbean, I’ve made a dress fit for any rebellious upper class girl with a taste for adventure on the high seas. Comfortable enough for battle, yet elegant enough for everyone to know your important status.
Materials: The outfit is actually two separate pieces. The top is made from an ivory coloured stretch velvet embellished at the neckline and hem with sequined lace. (The lace may vary slightly). The skirt is made from pure slub silk in dusky gold, with an elasticated waist.
Ideas: For everyday wear, split the outfit and wear the top with jeans, or the skirt with a simple vest and you will look stylish and unique. Or wear together to an elegant party, re-enactment, historical fancy dress or even for a casual wedding dress.
