Held captive in a room at the top of a high tower and guarded by dragons, a princess spends her days sewing together a dress suitable for rescue by a tall handsome prince. She wonders which princess all the beautiful fabric and beads belonged to before her, and she wonders if anyone will own the dress when she’s gone...
Materials: The top half of the dress is cotton blend with the most exquisite beading details around the neckline I have ever seen. The masses of fabric that form the skirt half include pure slub silk, tutu netting, polly/cotton net and unknown materials that to me feel like poly/cotton crepe and pure smooth silk. All in every shade of royal purple with added details in gold. The edges are raw and some of the beading is loose; but then it would be after running for her life through the forest.
Ideas: Wear with heels and tiara for an elegant beautiful fairytale princess costume. Or wear chunky boots and a choker necklace for a sumptuous steampunk outfit.
