I’m not talking the Nutcracker or Cinderella here, I’m talking about a mysterious, underground, more gothic version of a ballet. Dance the night away in this gorgeous skirt, but don’t be afraid when you find it brings out the darker side in you.
Materials: The black fabric at the top of the skirt and forming the gathered layers of bustle at the back, is Indian silk blend. The tails are embellished with beautiful detailed embroidery in a flowers and leaves design. The gold fabric is pure slub silk and is finished with black lace, with black satin ribbon additions at the front. The skirt is elasticated at the back and has a zip and hook and eye fastening at the side.
Ideas: This would be a fantastic unique skirt for steampunk style if worn with a black lacy top and boots. Or pretty it up with a pale coloured vest and fairy wings for the fairy ball.
